Life is full of pleasant surprises. Walking home last night, I looked up and saw stars. After having been soaked and battered at random intervals of about ten minutes for the past weeks, it was nice seeing the sky again. And this morning I woke up, and not a cloud to see anywhere. On days like this, the whole town slows down. Everyone puts on their nice clothes and take to the streets. Out of nowwhere, a thousand people pushing their children around in strollers appear, and if you want to visit Fløyen (one of Bergen's famous seven «mountains»), be prepared to walk in line all the way up. With more than 200 rainy days in a year, you have to make sure to savour the sunny ones. Me, I've been stuck at my computer for most of today, but I managed to get out for a walk, nonetheless. Here's some pretty pictures I took:
Under the Bridge
At the docks
Ulriken (another one of the famous seven) seen from the walkbridge between the train station and the city mall.
